On behalf of the Local Administration of Almaty let me welcome the participants and guests of the 22nd Central Asian International Exhibition “Mining Exploration and Mining Equipment” – “Mining World Central Asia 2016”!

Over the years, the exhibition has become a respected platform for the discussion and demonstration of new technologies and equipment. The development of mining and metallurgical complex is a priority task for the Republic of Kazakhstan as one of the leading countries for the world mineral reserves. The first country in the world for uranium production, with the richest reserves of manganese, chromium, coal, iron ore, gold, silver, copper, zinc and rare metals, Kazakhstan remains a broad market for the development of the mining and ore mining industries.

The Local Administration of Almaty puts great emphasis on the event, which enables to demonstrate the prospects of the industry both for Kazakhstan and other countries. It is at “Mining World Central Asia 2016” you can find ways to solve the most urgent problems in the sphere of mining and ore dressing, examine innovative technologies and equipment that can be applied to the successful implementation of future projects.

We are convinced that active cooperation of all participants of “Mining World Central Asia 2016” will contribute to the development of the mining industry in Kazakhstan, and will make possible the expansion of contacts and strengthening cooperation between business partners and development of practical recommendations for effective cooperation between the government and the corporate sector in addressing the problems facing the industry.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

On behalf of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan I would like to welcome all participants and guests of three expo events: the 22nd Central Asian International Exhibition “Mining Exploration and Mining Equipment”, the 13th Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Road and Heavy Construction, Communal Machinery” and the 2nd Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Metalwork Technologies and Equipment”.

Holding specialized industrial exhibitions is an indicator of the high level of innovative development of the country itself and its technologies. The achievements developed and used in the industry can be used in medicine, space and other areas of human activity.

Such events can demonstrate the latest achievements and new technologies to the representatives of science, production and management of engineering, machine tool building industries and government agencies, as well as gives an opportunity to discuss topical issues with the experts in the sphere of industry, share experiences, identify effective ways of development of these spheres of activity and establish interregional and international contacts.

The value of these exhibitions each year is determined by the wide geography of participants and a wide range of developments presented by Russian, Kazakh and foreign manufacturers of the industry, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation with the countries of near and far abroad.

On behalf of the Atakent Exhibition Centre and from me personally I am happy to welcome exhibitors and guests of the specialized exhibitions MiningWorld Central Asia, KazComak 2016 and Metaltech Central Asia 2016.

Strengthening the competitiveness of domestic enterprises is a major task of the current stage of Kazakhstan's economy development. In 2015, Kazakhstan joined the World Trade Organization (WTO), which means that the latest technologies are the key factor in the economic growth of the country. Sectors such as mining metallurgy, metalworking, roads and construction are advanced for Kazakhstan.
