On behalf of the Nationwide Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises and me personally, I would like to greet the exhibitors and guests of the 15th Anniversary Central Asian International Exhibition of Mining Equipment, Ore and Minerals Mining and Concentration – MiningWorld Central Asia 2009 and the 2nd Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Metallurgy, Metalworking, and Machine Building – KazMet 2009.
It is a pleasure to note that year after year these Exhibitions have been attracting ever growing numbers of exhibitors and are powerful stimuli for the domestic metallurgical industry development. The Exhibitions’ exposition reflects the level of national and world achievements in the sphere of ore and minerals mining and processing, metallurgy, and machine building.
I am confident that the Exhibitions and the workshops and round tables scheduled within their frameworks will provide forums for Kazakhstan and foreign specialists to discuss urgent issues confronting the metallurgical industry, make a weighty contribution into the resolve of important issues, and facilitate favourable conditions for further development of the industry.
